2. Conference Questions-How can I help get the word out about the 2007 Sisters In Christ Women's Conference?

You can request, via phone or email, a promotional kit (cover letter, posters and brochures) be sent to your church. You can point your friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances to the Sisters In Christ website. Click Here to download a bulletin insert from the Sisters In Christ website. Announce the conference during Sunday morning worship service. Hand out brochures with the morning bulletin. Place extras on an information table in the foyer of your church. Make announcements in Sunday school class, small group gatherings, and other ministry get-togethers, as well as with any other groups that meet in your church facility. Display the posters on bulletin boards, in the women's bathroom or on doors at your church. Pass out brochures in your neighborhood. Place posters in business locations you know of and will allow you to do so.

The 2007 conference will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., the doors will open at 8:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Douglasville.

9. How can I become a conference volunteer?

There are many opportunities to volunteer for the Conference throughout the coming year. If you desire to become a Sisters In Christ Women's Conference volunteer, please do so by completing the form under the registration link on this site or call the conference hotline, (770) 562-9668.

10. What about food at the conference?

Lunch will be available onsite but you must register and prepay either online or mail by February 9. Cost is $6.50 and includes chicken salad on croissant, pasta salad, chips, gourmet brownie and bottled water. Catered by Forget Me Not Cake Works. 11. What is the dress attire?

Casual, comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather is best. Keep in mind your own nature: if you get cold easily, bring a sweater; if you are hot-natured wear layers that can be easily removed. Remember that though the entire conference takes place in doors, there will be upwards of 1000 women present and you will be sitting mostly. Denim jeans and tennis shoes are acceptable.

12. Registration questions-How much doe it cost to register for the 2007 Sister In Christ Women's Conference?

To make it possible for all women to attend, there is no admission fee. Registration is not necessary. You may come and bring as many women as you wish the day of the conference. However, if possible, we ask that you register here on the website so that we can get some idea of the number of women that will be attending this year. Also, lunch will be available onsite but you must register and prepay either online or mail by February 9. Click Here for registration page.

13. Is the seating reserved or general admission?

Reserved seating is available for Special Needs (hearing, wheelchair), Guest Speakers and Singers only. All other seating is on a first come, first served basis.

14. Sponsorship questions-Can I, my business, or my church make a donation to the conference?

Yes and God Bless You. The Sisters In Christ Women's Conference is a non-profit organization registered in the state of Georgia. All donations are tax-deductible. 15. Other Questions-Will there be sign interpreters?

Yes, an ASL Interpreter will be available during the entire conference. If you need these services, please notify an usher upon arrival so that you may be directed to the appropriate area.

Men are always welcomed and will never be turned away. However, the Conference is geared towards women.

We recommend 18 years or older

18. Is child care available and how much will it cost?

Due to facility constraints, the 2007 conference will not be able to provide childcare. However, we are committed to ensuring that all women, regardless of situation, are able to attend. If childcare is an obstacle, please call our Conference hotline at (770) 562-9668.

19. What about cell phones and pagers?

Please be considerate of other Conference attendees and Guests by turning your cell phones/pagers to vibrate or off during the conference. You can check messages during breaks.

20. Can you accomodate special needs?

Yes, we can accommodate those in need of Sign Interpreters, wheelchair and walking difficulties. Upon arrival, please notify an usher so you can be directed to the appropriate area.
